Why Sia Blooms

Rafiki means friend, and that is the whole idea

Sia Blooms is a family-run operator based in Arusha. Our directors built their careers in hospitality in Europe and China, then came home to run safaris the way they would want their own families hosted.

  • The operator is the guide: no reseller in another country, no subcontractor at the gate.
  • Transparent pricing: park, concession and crater fees are inside the price, not added later.
  • Fair crews: guides, cooks and porters paid above the industry average, all year.
  • Honest advice: if a route does not suit your dates, we will say so before you book.

Quick answers

Frequently asked, honestly answered

Every private itinerary includes the vehicle and driver-guide, accommodation on the board basis shown, all national park and conservation fees, crater service fees, drinking water and soft drinks on game drives, and airport transfers. International flights, the visa, tips and optional activities such as the balloon safari are quoted separately.

Our shortest crater trip starts at USD 683 per person for two days, mid-range northern-circuit safaris run from about USD 1,430 for four days, and a week of luxury with a northern Serengeti camp is USD 5,451. Park fees are included in every price - see the packages page for the full ladder.

February for the calving season on the Ndutu plains and the southern Serengeti, and late July to early October for the Mara River crossings in the northern Serengeti.

Yes, and most guests do. A typical combination is six or seven days on the northern circuit followed by a flight to Zanzibar for four nights, or a Machame climb followed by three days of recovery on the coast.
