A guided morning through Stone Town's lanes - House of Wonders, the old slave market, the Sultan's Palace - then out to a spice farm for lunch and a lesson in cloves, cinnamon and vanilla.

Day 3 · Dolphins at Kizimkazi
An early start for the dolphin boats on the south coast, timed for the calm morning water. Back for lunch and an afternoon on the beach.

A full day at leisure: swim at high tide, walk the sand flats at low tide, or take an optional snorkelling trip to Mnemba atoll.
